Don't mention the name

Norm: Ssssh! be careful using that word.

Norm: I have a variety of reasons, the two controversies involving Jake Parker both of which seem to involve over zealous lawyers. Plus the internet is becoming a very unreliable and darker place. So I need a social media break.

On Dodgy Zoom Links

BEWARE That there are numerous hacking and phishing scammers out there looking to exploit the uncertainty and fear around the warning that from May 30th versions of the zoom app lower than version 5 will not be admitted to zoom meetings. This is true. However zoom itself will give you the opportunity to easily upgrade, whereas the fake links and sites might ask you for your name in full, email address, password, phone number and/or credit card details. So its important you don't give up this information The bad guys objective is identity theft and then to extract money from you or exploit your friends. You should always be suspicious if ask to supply this type of information.

And now for some cool jazz

Alvin has learnt to avoid zoom fatigue and anxiety by muting himself  and tuning into some good contemporary jazz during long zoom meetings, with occasional head nodding for effect.

Another cartoon that originated as a driveway chalk illustration

So Quiet!

So quiet! I can hear the birds

I'm still following the example of some of the kids down the road and drawing in chalk on my driveway (when it's not raining). This cartoon is based on an idea that began in chalk out the front. Staying at home should trap you inside providing you obey social distancing.

Social Distancing

"I'm out exercising Lila, and yes I'm taking care of social distancing"

Alvin & Lila People have been having a holiday (or something like that)  for a while now, but with the COVID19 lockdown they are back home and will probably be sharing their trials and tribulations with you again, whether you like it or not.

The background to this cartoon's creation was -
Today while out exercising (slow walk for me). I noticed a couple of families with young kids down the road had pretty chalk drawings on their drive and footpath. It bought a smile to my face. Then I figured I haven't really grown up so I could join in. When I got home I  found some chalk and drew a cartoon of my own.
I've seen a few confuse people I don't think I drew the tape measure in his hand well enough in the chalk version.
