On Dodgy Zoom Links



BEWARE That there are numerous hacking and phishing scammers out there looking to exploit the uncertainty and fear around the warning that from May 30th versions of the zoom app lower than version 5 will not be admitted to zoom meetings. This is true. However zoom itself will give you the opportunity to easily upgrade, whereas the fake links and sites might ask you for your name in full, email address, password, phone number and/or credit card details. So its important you don't give up this information The bad guys objective is identity theft and then to extract money from you or exploit your friends.You should always be suspicious if ask to supply this type of information.
